Synapse

Synapse, Segment's annual event, empowers software engineers, product leaders, and growth marketers to drive growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Covering topics from data quality to activation and personalization, Synapse addresses the essentials of creating a scalable customer data infrastructure for growth.

In this context, my role involved collaboration with Segment's brand and product marketing teams, as well as an external environmental design agency. Together, we delivered scalable design solutions across various touchpoints, including event wayfinding, signage, billboards (print and digital), email, landing pages, car toppers, swag, speaker cards, video titles, presentation templates, badges, booths, and event surveys.

Why is Synapse an important event?

Synapse has seen increasing participation over the years, with over 1,000 industry professionals attending Synapse since 2019. This growth reflects the event’s value in fostering community and knowledge sharing among engineers, analysts, product managers, and marketers. 

Segment has utilized Synapse as a platform to announce significant product developments. For instance, at Synapse 2019, Segment introduced ‘Functions,’ enabling customers to build custom data integrations swiftly, thereby enhancing the platform’s flexibility and appeal.
